All my life Mum has been there in the background, supporting everything I did even when she thought I was making a mistake. I knew that there was always someone there to pick up the pieces if things went wrong and to cheer when they went right. In later years her home at Brick Kiln Farm was a haven of peace and quiet where we would just chat and pass the time over a cup of tea. She loved to know what the family were doing and was always interested in any photos we had of their various exploits. She very much looked forward to visits from friends and family. Miss you Mum.
